Low-Lift. High Impact.
Give families impacted by trauma the extra layer of support they need and deserve, from birth to Grade 8.
Ready4K Trauma-Informed provides a unique combination of protective factors-aligned messages, connections to concrete supports in time of need, family communications tools, and critical data.
The Trauma-Informed curriculum is designed to strengthen the Protective Factors, which are five characteristics or strengths that act to mitigate risks and buffer the effects of trauma:
- Parental Resilience
- Social Connections
- Knowledge of Parenting & Child Development
- Concrete Support in Times of Need
- Social & Emotional Competency of Children
Ready4K Trauma-Informed also includes a Community Support Stream, which provides families with links to local resources. Partners often include links to health care, food access, housing, and other essential supports.
